WELCOME OUR NEWEST VOLUNTEER DIRECTOR
Sarah Ford is a native of Rockford, Ohio. She graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. She met her husband, Sidney, while living in Rome, Georgia. While living there, she served as Clinic Director for Advance Rehabilitation and volunteered as the Head Athletic Trainer for Pepperell High School. Sarah was a member of the Small Business Action Council, Leadership Rome and also active in numerous civic volunteer organizations.
Sarah moved to the area in 2015 upon her husband’s military transfer to the Pentagon. She began volunteering with SOWW 2 years ago as a way to give back to the military community. Sarah served as the Health and Safety Officer for the Inaugural Warrior Ride and this past year was the Co-Director.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of planning the Warrior Ride for Sarah was meeting new people in the community and working with those who are as passionate about helping our Willing Warriors as she is. Sarah and her husband live in Gainesville with their two children, Camille (9) and Talon (7). She loves spending time doing outdoor activities with her family and is always ready to travel.
